Kat Berta and her husband Alan are the co-owners of the Brattleboro North KOA Journey in southern Vermont. They purchased the property in 2019 while Kat was still in her late twenties. To say that Kat is a rising star in the campground industry would be a massive understatement. She is one of the most media savvy campground owners that we have ever met–and she is just getting started.
She was recently interviewed by Reader’s Digest about common camping mistakes that she sees at her own campground–and ways to avoid them. The article by Charlotte Hilton Andersen went viral and you can read it right here.
Some of Kat’s examples involve bad behavior at the campground and some involve silly or thoughtless mistakes. Either way–they are all easily avoidable!
