On this week’s Campground of the Week episode, Stephanie and Jeremy review the Streetsboro/Cleveland SE KOA about 30 miles outside of Cleveland, Ohio.
This campground is a peaceful and quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the greater Cleveland area. The number of seasonal sites indicates that many people use this campground as a weekend getaway spot during the spring, summer, and fall months. But it is also a lovely place to stay if you are passing through the area and want to explore Cleveland.
By chance, we happened to be passing through on the weekend of the annual Twins Days, in Twinsburg, Ohio. This event is the first full weekend of every August, and we ended up having a blast at the festival. It is definitely worth checking out.
Here are links to the activities and attractions mentioned in the episode:
- Cuyahoga Valley National Park
- Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
- Cedar Point Amusement Park
- Progressive Field, Home of the Cleveland Indians
- Winking Lizard Tavern
- Flannery’s Pub
