On this week’s episode of Campground of the Week, Jeremy and Stephanie Puglisi review Normandy Farms in Foxborough, Massachusetts. This campground has a reputation for world class amenities and an unrivaled daily activity schedule.
Simply put, Normandy Farms lived up to every one of the rave reviews we had heard before our visit. We were truly amazed at the level of attention to detail at this resort. Everything was immaculate, the landscaping was perfectly manicured, and the policies were communicated in a polite manner.
And the staff. Every single camp worker that we spoke to from the moment we arrived was professional, courteous, and helpful.
Normandy Farms is a large, popular campground. So your visit should be planned well in advance if you want your pick of sites. Listen to this episode to find out the sites we recommend based on size, privacy, and proximity to campground amenities.
Even if you have stayed at resort campgrounds before, the facilities at Normandy Farms are bound to surprise and delight. We have never seen such a range of amenities in any of the hundreds of campgrounds we have visited. Multiple baseball fields, a disc golf course, horseshoe pits, shuffle board courts, a bike park, pools, jacuzzi, and saunas are just a short introduction to all the recreational opportunities this campground has to offer.
Plus it is a short 30 minute drive into Boston, or an hour and a half from Cape Cod. You can also visit Gillette Stadium a few miles up the road and catch a Patriot’s or Revolution game. If you are not up for a sporting event, Patriot Place has plenty of opportunities for shopping and dining as well.
