On this week’s episode of Campground of the Week, Jeremy and Stephanie Puglisi review Atlantic Oaks Campground located in beautiful Eastham, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. This destination and campground also appear in their recently released book, Idiot’s Guide: RV Vacations.
Atlantic Oaks is a simple, quiet campground in what Jeremy and Stephanie consider the best location on the Cape. Eastham is only 25 minutes south of Provincetown and 25 minutes east of Hyannis, but it feels like its a world away from the hustle and bustle of these towns. Close proximity to the National Seashore, bay beaches, and fantastic dining options make this a premier spot to park your RV on a Cape Cod vacation.
The amenities are comfortable and clean, including hot showers, modern bathhouses and laundry facilities, a dog park, and decent Wifi service. But in our opinion, the very best feature in the onsite access to the amazing network of bike paths offered on the Cape. Hope on your bike at your campground and take off in either direction to experience the best natural beauty the region has to offer.
In the second segment of this podcast episode we discuss just a handful of our favorite area activities:
- Cape Cod National Seashore Salt Pond Visitor Center
- Bay Beaches: First Encounter, Campground Beach, Rock Harbor
