Podcast Episode #120:
Saying Goodbye to Our Jayco White Hawk Travel Trailer
Well, the day is finally here. After 5 years, dozens of epic adventures, and hundreds of camping nights, we are finally saying goodbye to our Jayco White Hawk SQB Travel Trailer and trading her in for another rig.
We had a fantastic experience with this trailer, and we are only trading it in because we are entering a new season of RVing with bigger boys and bigger toys.
When we got this travel trailer, we had 3-year old twins. Now we have 7-year old twins, a 3-year old, and a dog. We spend over 70 nights on average in our RV. It’s not that we need a lot more space. We just need the space to be set up differently.
So on this episode, we are going through every nook and cranny our our 33-foot quad bunk house travel trailer, and giving our listeners the skinny on everything we loved and everything we hated. It’s pretty amazing that in all these podcast episodes we have never done a complete review of our own RV.
We will start with the general specs and financials:
- Size, Length, Weight
- Tow Vehicles
- Cost
- Monthly Payment
- Layout
Then we’ll move into the features we loved:
- Trailer components
- Cabinetry
- Storage (interior/exterior)
- 6-foot quad bunks
- Kitchen layout and features
- Outdoor Kitchen
- And more…
After that, we’ll give you the scoop on what we hated:
- Master bedroom
- U-shaped dinette
- Shallow slide
- Bathroom
- Air Conditioning
Do you agree/disagree with our opinions about certain features? We’d love to hear from you and share your own personal experiences with our readers on a future show! Just leave a comment below…
It has been an incredible 5 years with the Jayco White Hawk, and though we are excited about our next rig, it is also sad to say goodbye to an RV that has given us nothing but wonderful memories with our boys.
