On this episode of Campground of the Week, Kerri Cox of TravelswithBirdy.com reviews Grand Canyon Trailer Village RV Park. We are calling this a Campground Smackdown, because Kate Dunbar reviewed the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park back on Episode #28. Listen to both episodes to get a complete picture of your camping options when visiting Grand Canyon National Park.
Kerri Cox was happy that her family decided to stay at the Grand Canyon Trailer Village RV Park, mostly because of the location. The Grand Canyon is notoriously difficult to navigate during peak season because of the crowd congestion, and Kerri felt that camping in the park made it easier to get in and out.
Grand Canyon Trailer Village RV Park is the only campground within the national park that offers RV sites. The campground is open year round and offers 50 foot long, paved, pull thru sites with full hook ups.
As always, Kerri wrote great blog posts about her stay at Grand Canyon Trailer RV Park and her family’s visit to the Grand Canyon National Park. You can read them here:
After hearing the reviews of both Grand Canyon Trailer Village and Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, we were supposed to pick a favorite and decide where we would camp on our next visit. Well, we copped out. We choose both. Three nights in the Trailer Village, three nights at the Railway RV Park. Done.
