(You don’t need a camper for this trip…)
A couple of months ago, Jeremy and I decided this fall would be the perfect time to take the boys to Washington D.C. for the first time. We picked Columbus Day weekend and booked the campground.
Quite the coincidence that our plans coincided with a long-term government shutdown, and we were forced to cancel this past week.
So we are staying local this weekend. We woke up to a beautiful fall sky, and are heading to one of our favorite autumn haunts (haha). Here we are at the Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Refuge a couple of years ago.
