When we showed up in Brattleboro, Vermont the other day, we stepped out of the truck to find blue skies, cool breezes, and the perfect New England summer weather that we are willing to drive hours to soak up each year.
We also found out that our camping buddies had a little surprise for us. Last summer in the Finger Lakes we had all come up with a group logo while sitting around the camp fire one night. Eventually Joe drew it out on a paper plate that proceeded to get pinned on various trees wherever we have camped for the past year.
Well. Who needs a paper plate anymore?
We have t-shirts, and sweatshirts, and decals, oh my!
The Funkensterns were having a sort of family reunion across the way and they too had their group t-shirt on…a green one with the family name emblazoned on the front. In the matching t-shirt contest of life, I’m pretty sure we won hands down.
Kampgrounds of America– watch out. The Lively Little Campers are injecting some style into this operation.
